If you have checked out at the front desk, there is a good chance Dr. Phil supervised the transaction, sometimes with both paws on the card reader. He takes his title seriously, holds daily office hours at reception, and owns a wardrobe most of the staff is quietly jealous of.
Between shifts you will find him patrolling the halls, inspecting exam rooms, or watching the birds from his window. He is a regular star of our Instagram feed.
Cuddles holds down the quieter corners of the hospital, usually from the top of her favorite fleece blanket. She has strong opinions and shares them freely, as anyone who has heard her mid-conversation meow can confirm.
Her job description includes long naps, quality-control testing of every soft surface in the building, and reminding the team when it is time to take a break.
Lee spent his time at Granite Mountain as the hospital's unofficial welcome committee, happiest in a warm hoodie and even happier in the middle of whatever was going on, including floor picnics with visiting kids.
In 2025 Lee found his forever home with a wonderful family. We miss him around the building, and we could not be happier for him.
